Consortium and Sponsorship Programs

 CONSORTIUM and SPONSORSHIP PROGRAMS are available for institutions and organizations desiring to support and participate in the Tall el-Hammam Excavation Project (TeHEP) in an official capacity. Consortium membership is available for educational institutions that can provide at least one qualifying faculty member to the TeHEP dig staff during a given season, and who will encourage students to participate in the excavation. Sponsorship status at varying levels is available for institutions, organizations, businesses, churches, and individuals who wish to provide financial and/or in-kind support for TeHEP.

TeHEP CONSORTIUM MEMBERSHIP
Consortium Membership is granted to academic institutions and educational organizations based on annual participation in TeHEP through both scholastic and financial support of the Project. Being a TeHEP Consortium Member allows the institution/organization to publish the fact that it is officially connected to this historic Project as a Consortium Member. It provides the member institution/organization the opportunity to promote and/or publish regarding TeHEP with permission of the Project Director(s), and following set protocols and guidelines.  

 TeHEP Consortium membership gives official recognition of participating faculty, staff, and students, and provides opportunities for scholarly publication of TeHEP data, as approved by TeHEP and the Jordan Department of Antiquities. TeHEP member institutions/organizations are given priority over non-members in academic cooperation, placement of individual participants, filling of quota limits, and scholarship consideration (when available). Faculty and students of TeHEP Consortium Member institutions may also be eligible for other archaeological opportunities in Jordan. 

 There are three levels of Consortium Membership. Stratum One Members have either founding or major status, and provide a minimum of $25,000 per year for TeHEP (aggregately in cash and/or services). This level provides expenses up to $12,500 for participating faculty and students (arrangements must be handled by  ​TeHEP).   Stratum Two Members have partnership status, and provide a minimum of $15,000 per year for TeHEP (aggregately in cash and/or services). This level provides expenses up to $7,500 for participating faculty and students (arrangements must be made by TeHEP). Stratum Three Members have participant status, and provide a minimum of $10,000 per year for TeHEP (aggregately in cash and/or services). This level provides expenses up to $5,000 for participating faculty and students (arrangements must be made by TeHEP). Recognition is given appropriate to each level. TeHEP Consortium members are recognized in TeHEP promotional and informational literature, excavation updates, and film credits. A handsome recognition plaque is also provided for each year of participation.

TeHEP SPONSORSHIP
TeHEP Sponsorship is available to institutions, churches, organizations, businesses and individuals based on annual participation in the Project and/or financial support of the Project. There are five levels of Project Sponsorship: Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze and Iron. Platinum Trowel Sponsors provide cash and/or services equaling $10,000 or more in a given year. Gold Trowel Sponsors provide cash and/or services equaling $5,000 or more in a given year. Silver Trowel Sponsors provide cash and/or services equaling $1,000 or more in a given year. Bronze Trowel Sponsors provide cash and/or services equaling $500 or more in a given year. Iron Trowel Sponsors provide cash and/or services equaling $100 or more in a given year. TeHEP Ground Team members provide cash donations between $25 and $99 per year. TeHEP Friends provide cash donations from $5 to $24 per year.
